Only saw the second half, but what a sweet win!

Top class attacking pressure in the last 30 minutes.

We deserved it!

Great to see the real United, fighting until last minute.

Rooney had 50% of that goal, good run on the left. He was better since he changed position.

Rashford very important again.

Shaw great, Valencia also had some good runs but at times seems like he is playing by heart and not looking where he is crossing the ball.

Bailly a rock again, in few occasions where he really needed to act.

Mikhtaryan tried, put some good effort, but of course he will need game time, in order to adapt.

It was a very tricky game, but we managed to jump over this obstacle.

Very important win, to keep the pressure on City and Chelsea, even though it's only the start of the season.

Agreed.

Rooney was positive today. It feels like he's starting to get better. There have been some good moments in the last few games as well that he still has it and deserves to be in the number 10 position. Not great yet, but much better than some other games he's played in 2016.

I liked Jose's post match interview as well. Showing that he trusts the rest of the squad as well and wants to play them - just that he can only put 11 players on the pitch.

We'll have some poorer games as well, but this does feel like a start of a great season. The right mentality is there. If we don't win titles, then at least we're doing things the right way.

I still have questions about whether Jose can keep it up for 3+ seasons, but for now this is great.

Especially happy for Rashford for taking his chance (again).

Aguero should be getting a three match ban for an elbow which means he should be missing for the derby.

I wonder whether the ref saw it and whether the 4th referee signaled it to him.

Guess not...

However, the FA should ban Aguero and even then it would not be enough, because West Ham could have leveled the game had it been 11 against 10.

None of the officials saw it.

TV cameras did though.

You didn't saw first half...he was BY FAR our worst player.
I would like him to be sold now we can get some money from him as his dicline is very obvious.
I didn't saw second half (only highlights on BBC), so don't know if he did better or not (except for the assist to the goal).

I've been trying to convince myself to start liking him (or at least accepting him as our player), but damn....it's hard :) especially when he makes those stupid unnecessary fouls.

Anyway, it's true that he seems a better player since Mourinho came.

It's hard for a player when he's not really loved by his coach or his fans...so this is only to all those people: you better get used to him as he will become the player that I knew he was...I'm no longer alone in this, Jose is also seeing what I always stated about the importancy of him.

Yes, very nice...the guy without studs is a nice addition :)

But only Fellaini had eyes for a woman that got smashed between the fans and the boardings...that's why he stopped celebrating and goes to the fans after the team left...

The worst thing about Fellaini, imo, is that people labeled him as an offensive player.

If he gets the right mental coaching, I think he could be the perfect anchor-man in the midfield.

2 wing backs, 2 central defenders, Fellaini in front of them to be a force in the air and generally clean up if possible and be the available option in the middle of the field. He doesn't have to run all over the field offensively, just make himself available for the back-to-middle pass from flanks or strikers all the time - if pressured, he can put it back to the defenders or he can distribute to the other side.

That would also allow for a more offensive constellation ahead of him with say Mikhi and Pogba, 2 flanks and a striker. Fellaini should then only come forward for set pieces and corners, like the central defenders.

Edit: Sorry for the Football Manager-esque language in the above, but I'm trying to paint a picture here. ;-)

In our NT he's a CAM, so not a CDM. He is the topscorer for our NT because of his position...

But he's technically at the level of Nicklas Bendtner... or maybe even worse. Why waste time having him in offense?

Also I thought De Bruyne was AMC in the NT with Fellaini, Witsel and/or Strootman or someone behind him.
