Getting to know Northern Irish Premier

Hi

Firstly, I should say that I got this idea from Petitclub (13289899), who interviewed Iceland’s top league coaches last week, and secondly, thanks to all the coaches who took the time to respond, and good luck to all of them, especially Limmat Lightning and Boston Celtics F.C. who are representing Northern Ireland in the Masters competition.

So, let’s get to know our top 6 teams and their coaches and hype up the competition (Unfortunately, 2 coaches couldn't find the time to respond to the interview in time). As viewers of this article, who do you think is the favorite to win the league title?
Here are the three questions asked:

1- What are your goals for this season? What about long-term plans?
2- Besides yourself, which team is the favorite to win the Premier League title?
3- Who is your favorite player on your team and why?

And their answers:

Team Dynamo Dunderhead: le_Coach:(711236)

1- The league seems to be pretty balanced. My primary goal is to stay in the league. Everything else is an encore. The medium to long term goal is to be able to play in the top third of the league. Maybe it will even be enough to win a title once.

2- Limmat Lightning seems to be one step ahead of the rest of the teams. That's why I expect them to win the title this season. However, I have a suspicion that especially Ming's Mongaloids and Boston Celtics will not take this without a fight.

3- To be honest, I don't feel very emotionally attached to my players. I am mainly pleased, when they are in form :)

Team Trash. : Gino1983 :(711029)

1- My objective this season is salvation.. I would have liked to compete for the title, but it will be difficult.. I haven't decided what to do for the future yet, this team is at the end of its cycle and one of the possibilities is to start again with the 17 year olds

2-Seeing how the first day went, I think the favorites are Limmat Lightning and Boston Celtics F.C.

3-In my team I don't have a favorite player.. I bought them all at 17 and grew up together until now.

Team Ming's Mongaloids: Themongos : (711278)

1. Goals for this season? "Aim for the title!"
I've already been screwed out of the title the last couple of seasons - last season was a particularly spectacular ME screwjob - I'll probably get screwed again this time too sure

2. Limmat are favourite. Joker has built an extremely strong team - because he has PM trainees and I have FW trainees, over the last few seasons his team has gotten stronger in comparison to mine, because teams with players at our levels lose attack ratings much more slowly than they lose midfield ratings - so his midfield has stayed much stronger than mine, which makes it a very difficult task to win over him. Aside from that, I usually lose any 50/50 kind of match by a goal or two anyway. A 50/50 for other teams is more like a 25/75 for me.

3. Favourite player, well it's between Dunstan and Dict. Despite Thomas Dunstan being more of an NT mainstay with the Head spec, I actually like Zak Dict a little more - because he's got a much weirder name. In fact Dict was a slightly stronger youth pull than Dunstan, slightly higher skills at the same age, but Dict has been hit much harder by injuries over his career than Dunstan has, so nowadays Dunstan might even be slightly ahead in skills. Ah I think if all other things are level, form etc, Dict still slightly has the edge on him actually - but his spec is more specialised so he is not as useful for the NT.

Limmat Lightning: RJoker: (710937)

1- Goal is to win the triple, i.e. Hattrick Masters, League Title & Cup Title

2- I think it is quite close this season, my long time rival Ming will be the toughest I think, luckily I smashed him 5-1 in the first game ;)

3- Will Dyball - homegrown winger legend.

The best of Northern Ireland: danielsan1986: (484538)

1- My goal is to stay in Northern Irish Premier for 1 more season. The team are getting older so not many seasons left for the team.

2- I think Limmat is the favorite to win, but Mings will compete for the spot.

3- Jiří Špaček is my favorite player because he has been in my team the longest.

Paddy's Pit: Delling-Netzer: (710992)

1- The goal for this season is to stay in the Northern Irish Premier. It was a great succes for my team to get into the 1 league. The long-term plan is to stay in the league as long as possible. An in a few years it would be great to play for the title.

2- I am expecting Limmat Lightning to win the league

3- I like Matthew O'Connor. He came from our youthe team and he is now close to the starting 11

I wish you all a friendly Hattrick engine in the following season :D And hope you enjoyed these short interviews.

Best,
Sor3na
