The Form of the players

What is the form and how does it work?

The player’s form is a difficult concept to explain. It is not any skill, but instead decisively influences the performance of all players. You should not confuse it with physical form (which in Hattrick is resistance). It is rather the translation of the state of mind of the player (self-confidence, private problems with the relative, the flirts, the kids of the house, etc...). The form has two dimensions: the visible form (the one we see on the player’s chip and the one that acts on their performance) and the hidden form. The value of the visible form, which is updated in the training, always tends to the value of the hidden form.

An example: player A on Thursday has a visible form insufficient (5), but his hidden form is solid (7). In Friday training, your visible shape will rise to acceptable (6) or solid (7), probably, but it's not granted.

You can't act directly on the hidden form of the players. The hidden form varies randomly, but there are four other factors that help your good behavior:
1) That the player plays one game a week. The importance of this factor is underlined. Playing two matches does NOT mean more chances of improving the hidden form. That is to say, for the purposes of form, playing a game is exactly the same as playing two.
2) The intensity of the training: the more intensity (100%), the more likely it is to be better in the hidden form.
3) Coach level: the higher level (acceptable, good, excellent), the more likely it is to be the better behavior of the hidden form.
4) Employees: Assistant trainers and Physical trainer the more you hire and your economy allows better than better, more likely to improve the behavior of the form.

Then we can help your good behavior by doing as above, but nothing more.
The visible form tends to the hidden form, the hidden form depends largely on chance and this means that praying to the Swedish gods of the HT is your main choice ;-)
Still, remember that the random factor is very important in the behavior of the hidden form. Don’t expect miracles: form is, if not the most, one of the most unpredictable aspects of the game.
