Interview with manager ShaliJ
Today we have an interview with manager ShaliJ (13509506) from Olympique Marshall Football Club (2063629). He is part of the Hattrick family since 04/08/2019
Hello ShaliJ, thank you for being available for an interview. Tell us some things about you.
Well I am Irantha from Sri Lanka. I am 27 years old an aeronautical engineering graduate.
How did you hear about Hattrick?I actually started playing Hattrick long time ago with my previous team. I lost it due to inactivity. I think I found Hattrick through another game called Battrick which is a cricket management game. I am a huge football fan so I was looking for an online FM game and I found this.
So you already had a team in another country before? If so, in which country was it and do you have a special connection to this country.Well I cant actually remember the country it was long time ago. Probably Italy? I am not sure may be because Italy won a world cup some time back. honestly I cant remember
What motivates you to play hattrick? As I said earlier, I am huge football fan and already playing offline FM games quite often. I was looking for more relaxed online game, like where actions are more in a proper easy-to-handle time frame which we can't have through an offline FM game.
Do you have a long-term strategy for your team?As for a strategy right now i am actually bit struggling with Hattrick. In other management games I am more of a youth developer and I have developed several players into youth international players but here i am bit of a struggle in that aspect. I am more into market gambling in hattrick and so far it does a decent job but it takes a lot of time.
Do you follow the NT and U-21 Teams of Sri Lanka?Unfortunately Sri Lankan football is very poor hence, I am not a huge fan of SL football.
I didn't mean the real national team, but the national teams here in Hattrick :) After all, the U21s have reached the second round of the current World Cup and are only eliminated there. Do you follow them?ahh the international football in the game. Well I did track for sometime but not much. As I said since I am still struggling to develop players in my own, my interest in national game was kinda slow. But hey, once I figure out ( I recently relaunched my youth team too) I will definitely look into it. Nothing beats your own players representing at national stage :)
Thank you very much for the interview.
